Finished a pair of socks!

February 10, 2017 · Leave a Comment

Last year, for the first time ever, I finished knitting a pair of socks! They are beautiful, but sadly I misread the sizes in the pattern and they are a bit small. I can squeeze them on, but I’m thinking maybe I should give them away. It would probably have to be to a child […]

Sockhead beanies

February 9, 2017 · Leave a Comment

I can’t believe it’s been over a year since I posted here! Here are two of the things I’ve made in the last year: Sockhead Slouch Hat. The first was knitted in Manos del Uruguay Alegría, and is an absolutely divine yarn! I was going to add the pom pom from the second onto the […]

Blue and brown toned shawl

Transposition

July 29, 2015 · Leave a Comment

This is the Transposition shawl from The Shawl Project: Book One. It was quite a pleasure to make, even if I did fail to read the pattern properly and had to go back about 10 rows… twice. I used Jawoll Magic dégradé yarn, which was also lovely. The shawl is very soft and comfortable to […]
