My third watercolour is of the frangipanis in our front garden. They’re pretty amazing: they start life as a bud with a slightly pink tinge, then a mainly yellow and white flower with a pink tinge, then with age, or maybe sunlight, a deep pink develops.
I tried a couple of different things here: water drops, more blending, and some paint tapping. For the background I ended up brushing outwards, which I liked, but I’d like to know how to make background smudges too.
