The Shawl Project

December 25, 2015 · Leave a Comment

This is my personal shawl project.

While the first shawl was made before I came across these, the rest were inspired by The Crochet Project and The Shawl Project: Book 1. I’ve made four of the six patterns from Book 1, and have bought Book 2 as well.

All of the shawls in Book 1 can be made from one skein of fingering weight yarn, but most of the shawls in Book 2 require 2 skeins, whether to achieve the size, or just because they are best made with complementing colours. So, Book 2 might require a bit more planning on my part to complete. I’m also working on a new 2 ply shawl.

You can check out the details of each of these shawls, including the original patterns and notes on yarn and pattern modifications, in my Ravelry projects.
